Clinic – COVID Regulations – Clinic Hours – Moving Forward
With the easing of State COVID restrictions on Friday 22nd October, I wish to advise you of a few changes when attending clinic.
To ensure the safety of all patients and that the clinic remains open, all persons attending clinic will have to be fully vaccinated or at least have a confirmed booking for their second dose.
In accordance with COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination directions in Victoria, the only two absolute contraindications to vaccination are anaphylaxis to a previous dose of the same vaccine or anaphylaxis to a component of the vaccine. Speak to your medical practitioner for more details.
If you are provided an authorised medical exemption from being vaccinated, please inform the clinic prior to your appointment. The decision to allow treatment will then be considered on individual circumstances. A copy of the medical exemption is required at the time of your appointment.
At this stage patients are still required to wear a mask. We recommend a P2 or N95 mask. If you do not have one, you can purchase one in clinic for a small fee. These masks are used in COVID wards and offer the highest protection to further reduce the risk of transmission of the virus.
If you have an authorised medical exemption stating you do not have to wear a mask, please provide a hard copy to be stored in your file for reference.
As always, QR Code sign-in is mandatory and do not attend clinic if you feel unwell, have COVID-19, or are a close contact. We will reschedule your appointment to a later date.
Thank you for your co-operation in ensuring the clinic remains open and a safe place for you and your family.
